Alumni Update: Kenneth Saul

We are happy to spotlight Dr. Kenneth Saul, a native Mississippian, graduate of Mississippi College and the University of Mississippi Medical School, and, very importantly, one of the first graduates of the Dermatology Residency Program.

Dr. Saul recently sent us the following note:

“I was honored to be a part of the first Dermatology residency program at the University.  The training was excellent, and I felt very well prepared to enter the next phase of my life in private practice.

After leaving residency, I opened Saul Dermatology in Meridian, MS.  I have been in practice for 5 years and the practice continues to grow.  The UMMC residency program helped prepare me to meet all of the medical, surgical, and cosmetic needs of my patients.

I have been married to my wife, Mary Allison, for 10 years and we have two children, Ellie Heart (age 2) and Henry (age 5 months).   They keep us very busy at home.  It has been quite an adventure over the years since medical school and now private practice, and I am excited to see what the future holds.  Thanks again for the support and training of each member of the faculty at UMMC who helped shape who I am today as a physician.”
